has anyone had a steering wheel swap-out in IL? if so, which dealership did the work. i ask this question because i have a "we owe you a wood steering wheel" work order and have had it since late March. wondering if my MA is screwing around with me are not in saying "we haven't got any in yet". please reply........

 

I just saw a wood steering wheel and wood shift **** on a black MCS. I've heard the steering wheels themselves are hard to order, due to the demand for them on the factory line. I'd have to say I believe the dealer when they said they haven't got it in yet. I know that Patrick MINI has lots of the parts for a new MCS, but sometimes parts still have to be ordered. Do you know if the 2007 and the 2005 MFSW are the same? I like the 2007 wheel spokes that are sculpted and I want to trade them for my plain ones. Any thoughts? Part Numbers?
