I just noticed something though. The Sidewalk badge aft of the side turn signal is missing.

Indeed, the "Sidewalk" badges are missing...well, not missing per se, as I had the dealer remove them prior to delivery. I was not too fond of them...I'm usually not fond of ANY badging at all...It's more fun to make people guess! That said, I figure the wheels and interior speak for themselves.

 

That is one gorgeous car! Love the two-tone steering wheel. I think debaging was a good idea- no point in flaunting the fact that you have a sidewalk. On that note, not to get off topic, but I can't stand when vette owners have "corvette" across the windshield, corvette plate borders, corvette plates, decals etc. WE KNOW its a vette for God's sake!

Uhhh...I was waiting for someone to comment on that! Sometimes its hard to make a point w/o getting crap. I guess I had it coming. It's all in the intent IMO. I don't flaunt that I have a MINI, I just like the plate for myself. Nothing gaudy like a 5' "CORVETTE" decal on my windshield. I'm also obsessed with euro-style plates!

 

^ I was just teasing anyways. It looks like it's a car worth flaunting anyways -- of course I'm always a little biased towards JB MINIs

 

That's the first Sidewalk I've seen in Astro Black. I REALLY like it. I wasn't took keen on the wheels before, but they look great on a black MINI.

As for the wheels...You're right, I don't think they'd look as good on a car of another color. But then again, I am now biased myself!
