Suspension 05mc JCW 18 with H&R lowing springs
Why would they rub? If you have JCW 18 wheels, they should be roughly the same diameter/width as OEM 17" tires (plus or minus a small amount). I thought the main concern with rubbing on 18" wheels is when they are wider than stock... anyway, I'm curious as to why they might rub more than 17"...
sometimes 16's can rub. sometimes 17's rub. sometimes on the same tire proportions. sometimes in the turns, sometimes over speedbumps, sometimes with a full load, sometimes when driving by yourself. sometimes at the track or the autox. sometimes...
but overall, if it rubs on the setup you're shooting for, it's not going to rub very much. plus, the little amount that it does rub, it'll rub away at the liners and just maybe on the arches but no one will be able to detect the effects of the rub since it will be on the interior of the arches. the rubbing will wear away those areas ever so slightly and after a few rubs the rubbing will be gone.
