6/30-7/1 Track day at VIR with Cobra Club

Here's a note Tony sent to me, (he's Daniel's buddy) Those of us who went to CMP get a price break, but it's still a good deal at a GREAT track.

The open track portion is open to any type vehicle not just Fords. The show is to get more members there that may not like open tracking but want to come out and have some fun, too.

Bring more minis with you and we'll try our best to keep you all in one group like CMP.

Just wanted to remind everyone about our event next month, June 30 through July 1, 2007. We are a little over halfway full right now so be sure to beat the deadline if you plan to come out and run with us at VIR.

We want a fun atmosphere that is considered the "best bang for the buck" so we keep the cost low. Take advantage of a fun weekend at a world class facility.

You can even sign up on line at www.scmcstore.com or mail you registration form in with a check. You can access the mail in forms and see who is already registered with what type of car by going here:

Hope to see some of you come out with us.

Dave thanks for the post. I would love to do this even tho the wife won't let me. I have run the full course 3 times with my 03 Mini and 05 BLUCOOPR. It is a good price and deal for those interested in getting started in roadracing and even autocrossing. I can't make this one because of car show commitment. Watch out for the oaktree! Got a photo of me on 3 wheels there. Luke

If you can go to do the south course in a MINI. It's very tight and those high horsepower cars only have one chance to get a good lead on you. It's a blast for great for our cars.
