Hey,
I just got back from racing my stock MCS at Bandimere Speeway here in CO. I want to know what all of you guys are running, becuase my runs werent so good.

Race #1
R/T ... .776 ( I wasnt paying attention)
1/4 ... 17.241
MPH ... 82.70

R/T ... .321
1/4 ... 17.187

Are those normal times for a stock MCS, or am I doing something wrong, I need some insturction if I am off. Thanks for your help.

well a bunch of east cost guys are running in the mid 14's with pullied cars another guy is in the 13's with Nitrous, pulley, cam, exhuast, header and drag radials. When these guys started they were running high 15's

Bandimere is @ 6000 ft. I think it's the highest elevation drag strip in the country. So, you're gonna run suckier times vs. sea level. I don't know how the correction factor works. But here's an example I got from a 300ZX forum member running at that track:
12.6 @ 108 mph = NHRA corrected to an 11.9 @ 114 mph

Hopefully someone here knows the formula.

Well if it makes you feel better I would probably run the same times in Englishtown, NJ. Much closer to sea Level.

Yeah 6000 feet of elevation is probably worth close to a second even in a supercharged car.

While not overly into drag racing myself, I do know that the Altitude does cause major headaches for all lowland drag racers coming here. I'd go looking for some veteran racers from around "Thunder Mountain" and see what they know. It's a unique track and from what I understand, you practically have to have a setup specifically designed for racing there and nowhere else to get the times you are probably wanting.
