Man, it's quiet in here, too...

I'm still driving my Mini, and I will all winter. Anyone else?

I had the typical rust spot above the boot-lid handle and below the left tail light, both thanks, I assume, to six winters in Calgary. I was slow to find out: there's a 12-year warranty on the body, and they're replacing my boot lid and repairing my back left quarter. Commendable service from Crowfoot on this, and I hope, ultimately, equally commendable service from Maranello once it's all said and done!

Anyone had an R53 pulley done in Calgary? Where'd you go? I've only spoken with Sheni's about it, and they seem reasonable. I probably won't get around to it until spring.

Hi,

Most of us hang out at minicalgary.com. You may see more action there...

We are driving our pair of minis all winter too. They are great little snow warriors!

My 06 R53 drives around in the snow, but not as much as he used to, I'm getting too many rock chips from the big roads for my liking.

Could you post a picture of where your rust spots were? I've got a blemish on the right side of the license plate frame that might be a little rust spot.

Vitek's will do pulleys also.

I intend to drive my MINI all the way through the brutal Southern California winter. How else would I get to the golf course?

Driving from Vancouver to Jasper this weekend for work. Still a bit far from Calgary. If I do end up in Calgary, for sure, I'll look up the gang.
