Some from today's outing.

I was going to try some with the camera mounted in the center of the bonnet, but it was getting overcast and drizzly. Maybe tomorrow.

What ISO were those taken at?

Any shots of your mount?

ISO was 250 (overcast today)
Here's a link to the mount:

I also removed the camera strap and put a heavy split ring on the right strap lug. Then I used nylon cord from the split ring and tied it to the inside door handle.

A different angle. This was tough because I didn't have a good view down track, and panning while swiveling my hip was a trick.:impatient

Taken for an earlier theme, left hand held with the strap wound tightly around the wrist, hoping for something.

I'm not skeered of no water!

p.s.: a vagrant burnt the restaurant that had this traincar as a room, now gone.

Nice Stuff, Mark! (as usual!)

Camera mount stuck on drivers window. 10-20mm lens.

Next time I'll clean the windows!

I like that position(angle, view) Jimz. I'm going to have to see if my mount works on the side of the headrest. Thanks for the idea. And I got a fish-eye lens for Christmas so that'll be fun to play with!

Thanks!
I've been thinking of a head rest mount ,too!
These were taken with the Sigma 10-20mm and the images processed with DxO Optics Pro v4.

Really nice, Jim! Dang, I've been wanting that 10-20 (or 12-24). That DxO is interesting!

Last Saturday's Stuff:

For the last two, the mount was stuck to the inside windshield with the camera upside down.

I like the last two, except for so little MINI showing (it's just a wiper). I really like the trees overhead.

Great shots! Do you happen to have the exif data for the last one?

1&2 dial down the dash lights so they don't flare as much—or go manual and expose for the interior & let the exterior fall
3&4 overexposed—keep the shutter speed as is (it looks great!) & close down a stop, (or use an ND filter)

Dang Jim, that time warp through the trees #3 is spectacular!!

I think it sparked some kind of residual brain particulate. Thanks for sharing

Those are great, Jim! I really like the tunnel of trees effect. The exposures look fine to me, though of course in that last one, especially, you're dealing with a lot of contrast so the clouds are blowing out a bit.

Really cool!

Slightly OT but, if you run Firefox, there's a nice EXIF viewer plugin here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3905

Right-click on an image and you'll see "View image EXIF data" in the menu.

I should have provided more info in my constructive criticism.
You can use global adjustments (or layer masks & adjustment layers) to bring the levels up in an underexposed capture—it's difficult, tedious, and usually impractical to add detail to overexposed images.
