Ilove the way the Exige shot that you posted came out. The shots look great. Something you may want to try is experimenting twith a few different angles (height wise) it seems most fo the photos are at eye level, maybe try some lower shots or if the location permits, climbing up a little higher.

On a side note Ferrari Red on the carrera just doesn't do it justice I think it looks better in Black or Silver

Ditto. I was just about to say that. It almost looks like that fish eye effect. Something I would like to see is a full aerial shot.

Now whos the owner of the Exige? I am in L-O-V-E with the orange Exige....

Looks like you all had fun.

Hi! Thanks!
I agree. I do have some at lower angles. Don't know if you know, but I'm 6'8" tall. (with BAD knees, too) so getting down for a low angle is a bit of a chore for me. I may get down there, but I might not make it back up!
Amen on the red Carrera.

The owner is the guy on the right in the black t-shirt. He also has a red/blk MINI with the license plate "EVL MINI"!
Maybe he'll chime in here.
Oh, and it's actually red. Maybe I over tweaked the color. (Photoshop n00b, here )
Thanks for looking!

I've been starting to have those same problems too and I'm only 5'11".
(Maybe it's me being 5'2" - 5 decades plus two years )
Love those shots Jim.

Can't wait to get to the local cruise-in here this Wednesday night.

. . . and then there's the Belmont Shore Car Show this coming Sunday.

Jim,

For the Exige shot, what lens were you using? I like the angle/lens combination a lot. It works very nicely with the setting.

That's the Sigma 10-20 mm. Ran the image through DxO optics freebie trial download.

Not quite.
The turnout last weekend was a bit sparce. I think there was some sort of Ferrari "Event" going on at Buttonwillow or Willow. Not sure if I'll be going this Saturday or not yet. Anyone else?
