Jason, I stuck my foot in my mouth and should have apologized. You are a true craftsman for taking ultimate responsibility for your project as a whole, which I totally respect.

I still stand by my original remark, that your piece is well shot and well produced. I've seen dozens of reels go through our shop and I'd put that up there with some of our better stuff.

Cheers,
Richard.

Oh that's what the RM video was. i don't have their player and didn't want to download it. So I'm confused. Is that Blanche Nooner in the pic you posted the same Blanche in the video???

Sorry I'm kinda slow.

Ooops Spalding. LOL. I transposed the Nooner headline. Hmmm, didn't look like the same girl to me.

Ooooh, and yes, I needed that clarification too on the right lion.

ok, now we're just splitting hairs.. but I thought it was good that she was so attractive. It placed just that much more emphasis on the car. Like Jason said.. its the irony of it.

Maybe BMW/MINI will take notice and hire Big Brain Pictures to make the commercial for them and I can steal....I mean incorporate other peoples ideas.

I'm a director so I have my own strong ideas on how to do things, but I'm not controlling enough to not want to listen to other collaborative, great ideas. the only thing that makes me sad is that once I'm done with something and sitting in the comfort of the editing room I start to get more ideas...after it's too late. But hey, there's always incorporating new ideas into future projects and hopefully it will make me a better director and help our company as a whole to grow.

Thanks again everybody,

jason
In a perfect world, I would make a living doing editing, so I understand the "strong ideas on how to do things"...

Hey all. I'm really happy to see that this post has hit it's stride and people seem to be saying what they want now and having fun at the same time. I would love to respond to everybody every time, but I do have to work sometimes...since my film-life has yet to pay off.

I do really appreciate the personalities that have stopped by here...lots of fun and great comments. Even if I get a bit sensitive from time to time, I really do take to heart everything that everybody says, which is probably why I like Makers Mark whisky so much. I take everything so seriously and get real tense, but no worries the sun is setting over the desert and thing are glowing red, so all is well.

tomorrow I will meet with Joseph and Dominic my very gifted business partners and collaboraters and I'm sure we will kikc all these comments around once again, so feel free to send fifth's of Makers to 101 W. Main...oh, never mind

You guys are great...enjoy the weekend...wait it's only Wednesday...ah, hell I still hope you enjoy the weekend.

Best regards,

Jason
