Thanks for the votes :smile: It was shot with a Canon 10D, 50mm macro lens, 1/4 sec at f2.5, ISO400. Light was supplied from the interior LED lights plus the light from inside my garage. I have a 2005 DS/B MCS, and haven't really had the chance to take any decent shots. Hopefully this contest will force me to get out and capture some cool pics. Props to Dave for starting up this idea! (btw, Dave, your motion pics are awesome! Love to see your 'rig' sometime :smile

Whats happening for February?

 

Congrats rpM. As soon as I saw that shot I knew that was going to be a strong contender. Nicely done.

Hopefully, the photo contest will be motivation for all of us to shoot something each month with a real purpose in mind and push us to think about the subject in different way given we have time to do so.

BTW, I'm not showing off my trained greyhounds. It's taken me 6 months of training to get them to be steady when running with a camera strapped to their side.

Again, congratulations.

At least for January the contest is going to be like the Academy Awards where the vote tally doesn't get published. Part of that has to do with the fact we deleted the contest gallery in preparation for the February contest.
