Non-MINI/Mini Photography
might not be to everyone's cup of [camera] tea, but here's some experimental stuff from my Colorsplash. . .
Cross-processed film image (E-6 to C-41), with intentional contras/grain . . .

Used maroon gel on Colorsplash camera for this one . . .

Used "Bulb" setting on Colorsplash . . .

Anyone here have LCA or Holga pics?

Juan, I'm sure I've got some somewhere....I don't even recall what this was right now. I know I had problems getting an EB MCS color balanced correctly with some of the Fuji chromes...I had shot it in dead winter, and it went way blue on me. Scanning was tough....I found that good old K64 was warm enough for some MINI shots, and there's a new Ektachrome out that was a bit warmer as well. Lighting & season play such a huge role in chrome shooting - I know it's an obvious statement. As more people go digital, it has less relevance though.

What's going on at the bottom of the picture? is that a trashcan an a construction fence?
The top 3/4 looks great, but the bottom is a bit distracting and also a bit too dark. Nice detail captured around that upper round window.

My turn to play...
Shot during trip to NYC April 2004. Ok, nothing too great here, but worth sharing I guess. I was looking for this first shot only, but then rumbling through the rest.. there is a few okay ones... When I go back, I will be more prepared to shoot better. This was the first time in 3 years I touched a camera... it was not like riding a bike. Anyways, for your viewing pleasure.... on with the show!
For fun

Here's another view of that same building:

From same roll of film, same location, different building . . .

Both of these pics were shot handheld on same evening, using available light, within minutes of each other. The first with my Nikon Fe using the HIE film, the second with my Nikon digiital.

Cleaning out my "photo folder" on my computer and ran across these. Thought it was worth a share... I've been playing a lot with that macro... its a great tool. Anyways, here they are... enjoy!

Alright, here is another one. I could not sleep last night, so I thought that I would play around with some crap laying around the house... this is the only one that turned out well... did a little photoshop to color the cherry.
Hafid,
It's been so long since you posted pictures. Hopefully you'll get more time to take some more soon.
Are you carting around a tripod too? Or are you propping your camera on something else?

I'm flying to Chicago in a week and a half, wanting to take my tripod with me. Any advice on how to? (carry on makes sense but do the TSA people give any hassles?)
