Thank you! I am fortunate enough to know enough people with nice cars that I always had something nice to shoot

I'm going to try and put that gift to work and make some money
I just posted an ad in the "Services" section for photography in the Boston area.
Spread the word!!

Nice photos!

I can't believe my luck, I searched for "car photography boston" and this was the first thing that came up! A fellow mini owner on NAM AND an amazing photographer AND very reasonably priced. I will for sure be contacting you in the future, once I finally decide on my stripes and such! Keep up the good work.

Wow! what a coincidence! It is indeed a very small (Mini? ) World

Thank you for your kind words ChirstieY I really do appreciate them. I would certainly love to set something up with you and get some great shots of your car for you

What Year, Color and model of car is your Mini? if you don't mind me asking of course.

Also I googled it too and I'm only 4 from the top!
I'm really glad that I put up that add in the marketplace now

And lastly, I noticed that you only have 5 posts, so Welcome to the NAM and Mini Community!

Thanks for the welcome! I just got my "Bibi" last month, and I am new to both car ownership and mini coopers. He is a 2006 MCS, pepper white & pepper white. I definitely want to get some new wheels & tires and some bonnet stripes before taking some "official" pictures

In the meantime, good luck with your photography and I hope you get some more MINI clients!!

So this Mini is your first car from the sound of it. Wow, another coincidence! Congrats! my Mini was also my first car too! That's so funny

Sounds like you got quite a canvas there to "paint" on, got any funky ideas for colors, types of stripes or wheels?

If you want something really different other than the standard Mini Bonnet stripes you could do the Viper stripes running down the length of the car or an offset stripe to one side.

Also if your interested, I know a guy who owns a vinyl shop and does custom vinyls for cars, He can print anything and any design and then put it on the car. He does full car vinyl wraps but he can make any shape or size. So if you wanted some colored stripes or something with a design I'd check him out.

I'll keep up the good work and I'll be here when you want to get those photos taken too.

Also you should check in here, Its a thread in the Mass section of NAM for us Boston Mini Drivers, Check in and keep an eye out, we want to do a get together soon.

Thanks for linking that thread, and also I would love to get in touch with your vinyl shop friend. I'm actually kind of conflicted about getting stripes, but I do know that if I get them then I wouldn't want standard black. I've been spending way too much time on this site looking at how people have modded their cars ... too many options, not enough cash!!

His name is Keith, and his place is in Reading so it's pretty close to Boston, Tell him that Peter with the Red and Black Mini sent you.

http://www.wrapsolutions.net/

Do something crazy, find or draw/design a neat design and have him make it into stripes for you! Get painted wheels and color match parts of your trim or stripes! so many combination!

Oh and don't get me started on spending hahaha, All of those "parts in boxes" were not there as of December

I recognize that Blue Subie with the pink wheels. I've seen those photos posted by my friend on Facebook - Ian Beam. Small world.

BTW, your photos are very good for someone who just stared back in December...

Thanks man. Interesting to hear that the pics are making the rounds on the internet. The car is a friend of mine from Rhode Island, she came up and wanted graffiti and I knew just the spot

actually I didn't start back in December, I just got a nicer camera then. I've been doing this since high school

And now some new photos!

Super shot!

One small suggestion - a light vignette (shading) on the ground in the foreground would help keep the eye even more strongly on the car. But it's great as it is.
