Oh man, really tough --- a lot of great shots.

Voted for no. 7 in the end, because I really like his work.

Kudos to 13 for getting the zebra shot!

Thanks BnB! I'm just glad I didn't lose the camera out the window at 50 miles an hour!

Well done to #2 and #5!
I like the attempt done at #1 and would encourage the photographer to do more with further refinement keeping an eye in the viewfinder for distracting elements. Shift position to adjust the composition and forget spending time learning how to "clone" in photochomp.

<sigh> <shrug> Artistic (using this term very loosely) HDR mania has swept up the NAM voting public...

Just this once.

2 and 5 were great. Loved them. But I felt they were a bit too predictable and cliche-ish.

Well gives consideration to the debate of what we're going to call "in camera" images, but I know things are intentionally liberal in that respect.

But also reading the comments, I noticed votes going to where friends are or because of other photographs a person took, sorta makes it hard to get an evaluation of the images, takes about half the "fun factor" out of the process IMO.

I agree and am guilty this one time.

I shall return to an objective evaluation next month.

Thanks.

I really tried to get the distractions out of the shot, but they were everywhere. Going down the road to the left made it worse as it brought the flag pole in line with the center of the flag and those lights in front of my car too. Going up the street to the right got the street light out of the shot, but at that point all you could see was the boot of my car and the flag lost all its impact due to the angle I was forced to use because of the pole holding up the other end of those lights.

I think what might have worked, if I'd had the guts, would have been to ask the cop to stop traffic for a minute while I sat in the street, turned my camera on its side and hoped to get both the car and all of the flag in the shot.

But, I have no guts. Hey ...there is always next month.

Here's the intersection from a slightly different angle.

The same happened on Flickr . . . . last year.

Bogen has a pretty good solution in their suction mounts.
(I have one of these.)

Thanx Kelly,
There's a farm here in north central Alabama that has Zebra and Buffelo sharing the same pasture. I wanted a better pic but this guy was moving away from me pretty quick. I even tried making "zebra sounds", I'm sure they collectively rolled they're eyes at me

Anyway, here are a couple more shots. Its truley beautiful to see them out running and enjoying this free enviroment. I plan to go back soon~

I have a few more I'll load up later tonight

You're welcome.

You get extra points for including wildlife. Always a difficult subject. Requires a lot of patience.

Really?! My dog loves getting his pictures taken. I've got an entire set of him laying in a bed of flowers. It lasted an hour and he was loving every minute of it. The first and only time I brought him along on a auto photoshoot, he literally laid down right in front of the camera. He doesn't come along with me anymore.
