Both affirmative; I have two of them [Shiba] actually; and a tom-boy Yorki. Thanx for the compliments. You can see a sickeningly large number of photos at my fotki site there of both cars & dogs (and the rest of my life... I need to learn how to edit and reduce the count to about 1/10th of what's there).

While I don't have a lot of photos of my car(s) w/a real camera & quality lenses (that night shot of course, is, w/Pentax K10D and Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8; there's some using the Pentax 12-24mm f/4 there too), I do have a lot of the dogs. Here's some favorites:
Here, using the Voigtlander 125mm f/2.5.
Here, using the Sigma 300mm f/2.8.

Looking forward to share. Your shots are inspiring.

Zoe is a lovely dog!

I've always wanted an Akita (similar to the Shiba) ever since I met one in Akita, Japan (!)

hahahah... and I'll assume they have some fabulous examples of Akitas in Akita Japan! Ya, I only started w/Shibas becaue they're the smallest of Japanese breeds, but look like a big dog.

She certainly is a looker. And let's not leave out Nala, aka Fang, aka Damian, i.e "devil's spawn":
http://public.fotki.com/m8o/dogs-life/best-of-nala/
She just returned from a 5-week stink in doggie bootcamp for training to live in a pack, as she tried to 'kill' our Yorkie [Mimi], tearing her entire lower right cheek & gums from the skeleton. The loss of most of the teeth seen below was actually from an incident a year before where Nala ripped a nyla bone from Mimi's mouth.

Ok, those are my dogs. Please pardon the OT... I'll stop now. Back to your hi-quality MINI pics!

Is that right?! hahaha. That's great. So you have a Shiba too, or just appreciate them?

I couldn't tell what you were using as the images didn't have EXIF. I tried to 'reverse engineer' where you may have your gallery, but I wasn't smart enough to be able to do so on deviant art.

Wondering too, what photography forum (if any) you might call home? I frequent pentaxforums.com, and started on dgrin.com for a bit but not lately.

All great shots once again.

These two are like a 70s time capsule --- the paneling, vinyl floor and shades.

Sex on wheels! ...

I'm not sure, I'll look again, but did you tell us what lens you are using?

You have my ideal "pack" [dog pack] BTW... I had two shepards growing up. A Shepard is too large for our lifestyle, but I'd love to have another.

Does you Shiba do rescue, or is he/she a service dog in some manner? Gotta be well behaved! Great dogs.

Your Photos are fantastic. You have a great eye for composition.
Can you detail what lens and camera for these shots? Of course you could probably do the same with a pinhole.
You are the digital Ansel Adams, dude! Next time I go on photoshoot to New Zealand, I'll ask you to come.

For that shoot I got to use my new 12-24mm Wide Angle. And my Shiba isnt part of any rescue unit or anything, he just has to wear the backpack because he slips through the fence in my backyard and runs around in the neighbors yard... I even had to stuff the compartments with newspaper so he cant fit through the gates

I've never been to New Zealand, but it sounds like a good photo oportunity and I shoot with a Penxtax K10D, with a Pentax 12-24mm Wide angle, and a Pentax 10-17mm fisheye

I thought so... it's got that "rectilinear wide-angle" signature I've come to recognize. I just wish the "twist" of perspective @ the edges didn't cause the rear tires to appear like they're running an extreme camber.

That's pretty funny about that back-pack... what our animals cause us to do...

its actually a little bit of both, justin's MINI is dumped with some pretty sick camber, I wish I had a pic of when I was driving behind him haha
