What kind of response was given on this? i.e. how big is the club? I just ordered my MCS on Friday (3/14) as I mentioned in another thread, and I'd love to get involved in the club if it's a going concern. What's the story?
Hi BlackKnight,
Apparently the response has been pretty good so far. The event is going on as planned. I think about 30 cars with drivers have joined the club . I also belong to the Gateway Miata Club & we have about 100 members. The membership is for the car so figure double that number. The MINI club works the same way. My MINI is only 2 weeks old. Got him from MINI of STL. Maceo is my MA. So far the experience has been great & the little MINI is a real champ. Hope your wait is not too long & perhaps we'll see you at a future event.

Aaron - thought I'd let you know that your fellow MINI owners in Chicago (who are also slowly on our way to starting a club) wish you guys all best with STLMINI. It sounds like you've gotten a great response so far with new members and I'm sure your upcoming event will be a blast.
Cheers,
Gabe

Great! Thanks for the update. It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm going to be vibrating in place waiting for my car to come in (2 MONTHS!!!). I was actually thinking about checking out some of the events even before I get my MINI...do you think that would be kosher? I live in the Alton area, so the River Road drive is right through my stomping grounds. Seems a shame to miss out on a chance like that...

See you next time!
