Thank you Cincinnati MINI

Last Sunday, 17 October, Cincinnati MINI hosted its third annual fall rally. This year was the Lucky Rabbit River Run from Cincy, through the hills of Kentucky and back up the Indiana shoreline (that's the Ohio River shoreline) to the Casino Boats in Rising Sun, IN. Highlights included a stop at the Rabbit Hash General Store, which has been in business since the 1840's. Rabbit Hash is a unique Kentucky town, the previous mayor was a dog, now deceased, current town council include a Republican Donkey, a pig and a cat. Nice to know there is still humor in politics somewhere in this great land. Blubelle loved the twisties, and avoiding Kentucky's, Indiana's and Ohio's Finest for some 150+ miles, but as the roads along the flood plain of the Ohio are prone to frequent washouts and flooding, she did bottom out a time or two on the poor quality asphalt. About 65 MINIs attended, with about 170 motorers. Much fun was had by all. Every color combination was there, including a couple of new Convertible MCS jobs, one in orange the other in blue. Sharp cars all.

Buckeye,

Pretty much sell and service MINIs. They seem to do an honest day's work when all is said and done. Can't ask for much more than that.

Last July, they did set up a day with the Kuhmo tire people to allow us to test three of the Kuhmo tires on MC CVTs around an improvised auto-x course. That in and of itself was a blast, and Cincy MINI also brought one of the "touring" Cabrios along as eye candy.

I wish there were more "outings for owners" but I am very appreciative of the one each year nonetheless.
