The dealer in Kansas City, Baron MINI, is helping to sponsor an event this Sunday called the Duck Derby and the MINI club in KC - Kansas City MINI Enthusiasts is asking for your help. The event raises money by people sponsoring ducks for $5 each and the MINI club has formed a "flock" is you're interested in joining. Click here to join the KC MINIAC Quacks Flock
The money goes to two organizations, Synergy Services, and the Mattie Rhodes Center that help victims of family violence, abuse, and neglect.
The duck you sponsor along with all the other ducks are loaded into a large truck and dumped into Brush Creek in KC (plastic ducks, not live ones
) . If your duck is first to cross, you win a 1yr lease on a MINI. Other prizes include a trip to Hawaii and a $5000 Plaza shopping spree.
