Greetings from Cedar Rapids, IA. I have a PS/B Mini S with all options except NAV system on order, expecting delivery at the end of Jan. Also have a friend who ordered his the same day and is expecting delivery about the same time, his is Black on Black and is a Mini S as well.

Not from Iowa here...but live outside of rochester minnesota so not far - we are getting a group together in MN and if there isn't enough motorers in Iowa you are more then welcome to join us here for meets, events, cruises, etc.

 

Hey Rataha, we picked up both cars last week and they are great. We bought them at Naperville, IL. Bill Jacobs MINI they treated us very well and would recommend them highly.

 

If you guys are thinking of going on a group drive, post it here. I live in Chicago but would love to join in for a drive in eastern Iowa!

Rick, I saw Larry's S outside the shop last weekend and had a nice chat. Give a yell and I would love to take a look at your S also. Hope you are having as much fun as I am. I will turn 13k this week.

Just became aware of a small MINI get together this Sat 4/26/03. Apparently a small group is forming with a $15.00 membership fee. Meet will begin at 09:45 at the Urbandale Library 86th and Douglas then leave at 10:00 for a short drive to Grimes. Not affiliated yet but likely will join this group.

Hello Iowa Folks,

I am motoring to Mt. Vernon this weekend. I am going to the Motarboard ceremony at Cornell College. I have driven there a few times in our Minivan but not in the MINI yet. I would like to try a few back-roads but most of the roads I know of are straight. I may be able to take my time going back to Chicago on Sunday, so if you have any suggestions on a routeI would be interested!

Hey Casey, I live in Rochester. I don't have my mini yet, but it should be here this week... hopefully!

By the way, if anyone in Iowa/MN has a set of oem 15" wheels for sale, let me know ASAP. I'm hoping to have them by this weekend. They need to be the oem 15X5.5 size.
