Hi all. I'm wondering if your club is active these days . I just moved here from the mid-west with my '05 MCS and would love to meet you people. It's great to find nice curvy roads for once! Nebraska is straight and boring

 

Hello mid-SC. I am down in Charleston, but it looks like the club here might be kaput. I visit friends up in the Spartanburg/Greenville area a few times a year so I might pass by one of you in a black over red 2013 Countryman S.

In my old car club, we used to have several preset meets a year. The one that held out the longest was the SouthEast Superbowl Meet. Members would come from GA and SC and we'd make a weekend of it. Mod the cars a bit, make fun of each other, cook out, watch the game, have a good time. We'd have different members "host" the meet in their city so we got to go to different areas each year. Best was the Myrtle Beach meets because it was off season on the beach and cheap to get an awesome condo. So much in fact that even though the meets stopped, we still go in Feb and enjoy the weekend away...
