Hey Agro, I see on the AMVIV site that a the Oatman and Route 66 run is scheduled for Thursday, some of us won't be there until Thursday evening. I was hoping maybe you could change that and do a run we have all been on and save the new ones when everyone is there. don't take this wrong, but I am getting a little and I said little bored with the same runs. I was very happy to see some new ones added, until I saw I wouldn't be there until Thursday evening. So what do you say can you make a change??? Please Please???

 

Sorry Sandie. Oatman is all day, and so is Death Valley. The only run that's a repeat from last year is Valley of Fire, which people who left early on Sunday could never do. We don't want to do an all day run on Saturday, which sticks us with Oatman on Thursday. Our biggest problem is the lack of 1/2 day runs around Vegas.
The schedule went through several iterations before there was no-one complaining too loudly, this is the best we can do. I will promise to swap the Death Valley and Oatman days for next year if you want?

 

Agro thanks for answering and maybe I can switch up my schedule. I know how hard it is trying to please everyone. So thanks again you guys at Sin City rock.

 

I can't wait for amviv4...so are any of you TX or OK minis driving by NM wednesday? We're hoping that some of you might drive in wednesday and leave with some of us Thursday morning to Vegas!

Agro, I was wondering when will the calendar be %100 final?

 

Current thinking is that we can't come up with a better idea than Goodsprings and Sandy Valley for Saturday morning.
Other than that, we're tentatively planning a couple of non-motoring things for during the day on Thursday and Friday for the people to don't want to do full-day runs.
The runs (with the possible exception of Goodsprings) and the posted non-driving events are 100% final now.

And the hotel rates have gone up. We contracted for 200 rooms. As of 10am this morning (after I prodded everyone yesterday) we have 282 rooms booked on the group rate.
