Phil Wicks MINI Cooper Challenge - 30 October - Buttonwillow
Are any of you Mid-Cal folks attending this? We are coming down from Sacramento on the 29th and staying at Buttonwillow Super 8, and planning a dinner that night at the Wool Growers Basque restaurant in Bakersfield, and attendance at the races on Monday at Buttonwillow Speedway. We would love to meet up with other MINI drivers for this.
It is only $5 admission, unless you want to drive a few laps on the track, then it costs $25 per car.
Phil Wicks will also be conducting a driving academy, if any of you want to earn your Racing license. The school is $300.
This is a series of ALL MINI races. There will be qualifying in the morning, parade laps at lunch, and racing in the afternoon.
