Autocross in Fresno May 20
Was the Autocrossing better than the road course in Vegas? My little brother and cousin were at the event. They said a car like mine with a black roof was running the course really fast.
Did you win a trophy?

Congrats to Blake for the fastest Mini time.

Yes, congrats to Blake. I'm hoping that once Brad and I get our very modified suspensions aligned (no alignment since installing) we will get to within a second of Blake.
Even with all the mods, I felt like I was plowing through the corners. I'm also hoping that after I get my worn-to-the-wearbars street tires replaced, I will have a little more grip. It sure would have been interesting for all of our group to run in the morning when the course was cooler and not greasy. I don't think you could compare the times of the early groups with the later groups. The holes and gravel on the first left curve that developed didn't help the third and fourth groups, either. I was working that curve for the fourth group and everyone was trying to avoid the holes or the gravel, but it didn't do much good. Everybody lost a little grip in that corner. All in all, it was a great day especially since it was my first autox.

KenHe should have some good competition in LA though. A couple of the guys going use to race, and now they just beat people up on the autocross.
