Clovis British Car Roundup
To All Mid-Cal MINI Club Members...

The deadline to enter this year's Clovis British Car Roundup is on the verge of overtaking the Mid-Cal MINI Club. The car show will be held on Sunday October 10th, in Old Town Clovis on Pollasky Street, beginning at 9:00 am and will conclude at 2:00 pm. Anyone interested in participating in this year's car show should enter no later than Wednesday October 6th! Entry fees are only $25.00. Entries can be made via the website at www.valleybritish.org. Classes have been established for both vintage and new model MINIs, so bring one or the other, or both...
To date, there are a total of three posted MINI entrys on the Valley British website. I know that there are several MINI Club members who expressed interest in attending the show. Hopefully those interested have already done so and the entry simply has not yet been posted. If you have not yet entered and intend to, please don't let the deadline pass you by... I have been told entrys will be accepted at the gate, however late entrys are subject to a higher fee (likely $30.00) and your car may not be able to be placed into the proper classification for the show.
In addition, for those not going to the photo shoot at Lemoore NAS, the British Auto Club will have a run through the Sierra foothills on Saturday October 9th. All run participants will meet at the Clovis Cole Hotel and leave at 9:00 am. Lunch will be available afterwards. All proceeds will benefit the Clovis Valley Nature & Education Center. Also, a no-host dinner will be held at the Yosemite Falls Restaurant, 1455 Shaw Avenue, Clovis, at 7:00 pm. Info can be obtained by calling 559-324-8456.
