We sent some Wizard's Black Renew to ImagoX for the party. Give it a try on the wax marks. I've always found that it's trial and error with different types of wax and different trim plastic composition. However, I've had the best results with Black Renew overall.

Black Renew cleans what wax it can and then dresses over it in one step. In some cases, a smaller amount of wax residue has returned after the dressing wears off. In other cases, none of the wax residue has returned after the dressing wears off.

It also lasts a reeeeally long time. Plus it smells good too. Give it a try and let me know how you make out.

I still have white marks from my first waxing attempts. I didn't know about good waxes and went with the "on sale" wax at auto zone. Now I know better but am still showing the "marks" of my ignorance. Hopefully the Black Renew will help me out.

That's only an hour away... Well, the way *I* drive it is anyway.

We're not starting until noon, so if you're up to the trip then we'd love to have you - you'll certainly go away with some free schtuff and a ton of knowlege, and your car should look fantabulous afterwards. If we have extra stuff (we should), I'll come up with a "award for furthest distance travelled" perhaps.

Matt, I'm going to try to swing by sometime Sunday afternoon. Probably won't have time to detail CHKMINI but it will be great to see everyone.

Ohhhhh... Ahhhhhhhhh... my wife called, all excited, to tell me that a big box of stuff just arrived from Detailers Paradise. It's awesome to hear her excited about detailing the MINI!

This is going to be SO cool. If you're still on the fence about whether or not you're planning on coming, you REALLY should. EVERYONE will go home with something, it looks like!

It appears the Griots stuff will not be here in tmie.

It appears I did not fallow the guide lines correctly(read I waited to long) and they were not able to process the request. So, once I get a head count I will have one sent for the November MINI breakfast to make up for it.

Sean

Guess I'll take some heat off old Sean. I heard it said that this will be the nicest weather weekend since the last one.

OK Sean, now that I've taken the heat off you we have to storm your garage & get all those Griots car drugs you have squirreled away. My car needs em.

Thanks :-)

Hey Matt,

Thanks for a good time at the detail day. Good folks, good food & a clean car. Even brought some goodies home. Doesn't get much better than that.

I second that I had a great time and my car looks incredible. Thanks to all for the help in making my car look so darn good.

Now can anybody make the rain not hit my car the rest of the week?

Matt, sorry I didn't make it. After high school football on Friday night and the OSU/Bowling Green game on Saturday I was over my hot dog limit and under my honey-do list commitments.

We saved you a few, Mark, but after a few hours we just used them as wheel chocks.

I'll be paying off my Honey-Do defecit for weeks, most likely, but it WAS fun - sorry to have missed you. If you're ever in my 'hood though let me know and maybe you can drop in - we ended up with a bit of left-over Detailers Paradise products that you might want to take a look at.

Take care!

Thanks Matt for Hosting this, it was a bunch of run. Hows the epic looking?

Also, I wanted to thank everyone for the help with the Mazda. I let the sealent sit to long on the MINI yesterdasy(stupid school projects) and it was a pain to get off. (Looks great though)

Thanks again for hosing and feeding us!
