I was at The Pub on Saturday and talked to the area manager and he said that they get a lot of car clubs. I have the GM's business card if we want to try and make it our Winter home.

I like Red Robin. Mark, Cooper, Allen & I went to one in Cleveburg last year. As I recall they had nice tables & chairs.

If others want to go to the PUBe I'd go there too. I don't like the idea of parking the cars far away. My MINI has separation anxiety.

If there is good parking, good food, and we like it, keep it there. If not, we can do Red Robin for December.

 

Someone needs to investigate the parking situation. Hey IceMan, maybe you could get Cooper to check it out for us. If we get lucky maybe he could do get us his discount.

 

I know from going up there the parking could suck. There is a row of parking kind of close but everyone wants to park there. After that one row is full, parking is out of sight from the pub.

 

The parking sounds like it sucks. Sort of makes it hard to look at cars & kick tires. Guess after we eat we can all go out & check out the new door dings.

 

Red Robin has sufficient parking in the back...

 

Maybe we could buy one of those nanny cams and watch our cars from inside the restauruant

if you are looking for a "pubish" place with better parking and a bit quieter than The Pub, you/we could try the Claddagh Irish Pub off of Sancus and Lazelle.

 

We're looking for a place to eat, hang-out, be by our MINI's and stay warm during the winter months. Can we get Sonic to put up a big tent with outdoor heaters, tables and chairs, and service it with carhops?

 

I've got connections with Bel-Lago Waterfront Bistro on Sunbury Rd. I could try to get their side room that overlooks the water AND the parking lot. It would be a bit more expensive than Sonic but Happy Hour + 1/2 price apps until 6:30. Let me know if you want to try it.

 

Bel-Lago is nice, but probably toooo nice. Wost part of eating there when I went this summer was having to valet the car... I can stand doing that... there is technically NO parking lol

 

Definitely NO valet parking on a Weds night.

 

Cooper will actually be valeting all the cars.

That is a very nice place. I've never seen a valet there, maybe they were trying to steal washmycars MINI.

 

OK. I'll set it up for Nov 4. I was there this afternoon and the meeting room on the side will be perfect. The owners and managers will set us up. Weds. is Martini special night too.
