I'm patently waiting for a Prius to show up at the local junk yard. Why you ask? So I can get one of them there solar roofs. Why? So I can have a solar supercharger.

Got our FRS radios last night and we are ready to motor on Saturday! OVER

 

It's not a breakfast, but on Sept 12 at 6:00pm in Greenville OH they are having a cruise in/ carshow in the downtown area. It is a really neat event and they close the whole downtown off for the cars. maybe a get together could be arranged?

 

Heh, yea only 3 hours Nope, the biggest problem isn't the time, but the fact that we have another gathering that evening and so we probably shouldn't stay in cbus all that long anyhows.

I will try to come up with a route and food sometime this fall maybe. Right now work is hella busy now that I'm the senior naturalist and the only full time educator right now! I'm thinking a trip to Ohio Caverns and that Rothschild (spelling) place in Urban-ana might be in order for a fall colors tour

And Chuck I'd be glad to join you for lunch in eastern Ohio. Just make sure Barbara brings her AAA gold card .

Fall colors tour sounds great!!!

 

My wife is from Greenville. The carshow/cruise-in usually has a good turnout. You'll definately have to make a stop at Made Rite!

 

I'm in for breakfest and lunch tomorrow. The only question is whether I will be solo or have my mini co-pilot with me. I picked up a pair of radios tonight.

 

Glad to hear you will be coming along. Guess I better print another route.

Nice breakfast with Mini friends old and new. Hope the lunch drive goes better than last time

 

I can only speak for the younger crew (boy do I love saying that.. ). No troubles. We split off after lunch and just got home. Had a great time. Stopped at the Pearl Valley Cheese store and then kept trucking on 541 to 62. Chuck had a great route up... when we saw Rt 541 again, we did it in reverse. Fun times!

[ok... before some wise guy says something about driving in reverse... no... we were in 1-2-3-4-5 and 6... not reverse.]

 

The silverback's & their high priestess just got home. That included a stop at Velvet Ice Cream Mmmmmm. We did not drive in reverse, heck it's hard enough for us old folks to drive forward.

Nice seeing everyone today. Very nice turn out of MINI friends.

 

Great time today! I'm getting ready to sit down with some of the snack mix that I got from the Baltic Mill and finish reading my Top Gear mag.
