One wave coming & one wave going.

 

I spotted a PW Justa Cooper doing G force testing today on the I-70 west ramp to 315 north. I thought the orange paint was going to fly off the mirror caps. Well done, looked like fun... Sadly I got no wave.

That's OK. It was very close to lunch time. You would not have recognized the vehicle I was in, a yellow MINI SUV.

 

OK, I've spotted the Chili Red MCS going east on 161 between Irwin and Plain City again. I think it is from Urbana. Anyone know who it is?

 

Most every morning I see an 08-09 Dark Silver S w/ Bridge Spokes headed down Taylor towards Gahanna, as I head the opposite towards Taylor Station.

Also most days about midday I see an orange 1st gen cabrio w./ checkered mirror caps around the same area.

 

I saw the inside of a silver S loaner from MAG today, not looking forward to seeing it again there is a pedal missing and it only has 4 gears (park, reverse, nothing, and forward) You should have seen my list of things today: required service, sway bar, brake pads, no washing, I think the automatic is my punishment for asking for so many little things.

 

Wow Allen I guess you've done it now. Once you drive one of those hot numbers with it's F1 shifting you'll never go back to an old archaic clutch equipped car.

 

I do not know if they actually improved my car or that I so hate that loaner but my Mini feels great. Alignment made a noticeable difference as did the new brake pads. Fluids and belts not sure about any difference but it is good to know they are new.

Ohh and I put a fairly big nick in the paint on the silver loaner due to a gravel truck on 270 I heard it ping and when I got to MAG looked and there was a nice nick and ding. I showed the service guy and he shrugged it off so that is good.

 

On our way out of the mall the other night, we had a neighbor! Nice looking Mellow-yellow MC... gonna miss that color.

 

Spotted a mint green r50 in Greenville yesterday.

 

Parked next to a CR/CR JCW tonight at the Greene in beavercreek. On the return we got to the cars at about the same time and had a nice little mini caravan going on for a bit along I-670. =)

One of the best sounding cars I have ever heard when the start button was pushed. Pity the owner never touched the gas as he drove away just let it idle. He backed into that parking spot to avoid having to walk through vomit, if you saw the rear of the car you would gag Ferrari missed the mark on styling from the rear wheels back.

 

Yep the rear of the Cali Fiat is dead butt ugly. Did you put a MINI spotting card on his car? He'd have loved that!

 

The owner most definitely would not have been amused. He was a stick in the mud to say the least Not nearly as nice as the guy with the black Galardo I saw this summer down the street, he would have received a card for sure!

One of the great things about Bexley is there are a lot of people with cars that cost more than my house.

All yellow r56 justa- on 270 near Westerville this morning headed South. Got a giant wave lol. Anyone on here?? It was like they knew me...maybe they did!

 

I saw that one on Taylor a few weeks ago but forgot to post it.

 

I saw a nice red & white R53 on Lane Ave today. It was driven by a silverback no less. No wave for me.

 

So I got online tonight to check out some new snow tires and to my surprise I see that Mini made The Tire Racks home page. Better yet, they are advertising with their "Preferred Packages"

MAG loaner gave me a wave today in Worthington, the driver looked familiar who was driving the champaign colored loaner today?

 

Saw a white MINI with orange mirrors from the 4th floor of my office today headed down Sycamore St. Hey wait, it looked like the one in the picture above!

 

But could you hear my intake from there? I ran to Wendy's and ended up keeping the windows down the whole drive back so I could listen to my car, I should thaw out by the end of the day

 

I thought I heard a little rumble when you drove off from the light!

 

Funny thing is you should have seen me pull out of my parking lot. I kinda cut off an SUV then I expereinced the Mini stumble and lost power for a second. Thought the SUV might run me over for a moment then power came back and off I went.
