Service 1 time...

Well, I've rolled over 30,000 miles on the '06 MC already! That being said, I will be taking her in for the first "big" service on July 8th.

Is there anything additional I should ask them to do while I have her in there? Anything that you would recommend "requesting" they repair etc.?

My other thought that I am pretty sure my "catch all" warrenty ends in 6,000 miles or less (36,000)... should i take my MC back in then to 'Make' them doing any last minute repairs/service before I have to start paying for them ?!

Thanks all!

I don't know if it applies to the 06 or not, but the 07 I bought had the maintenance agreement to 36,000 and the warranty was longer to 40,000 or 50,000- I don't remember which exactly.

The inspection seems to be limited to electronic diagnostic only, and there's only any diagnosis involved if there's a complaint to address.

I was just in for my Inspection I too, and all I did was be honest about the things that annoy me: I get a weird drive train squeak at 2200RPM in third gear, the sunroof has gotten stuck a couple times when it's hot out, and I've been getting some extra rattle on the first start of the day.

They addressed everything except for the squeak (which the tech could not reproduce) so it goes back in the next week or so with some more specific instructions on how to make it happen.

Yep that apple is right. 4 years or 50,000. Free service is over at 36,000. I suggest keeping a list of the little stuff that needs tending to & making sure to get it all done before you are out of warranty.

If your car is 2 years old it's due for a brake fluid change. That's covered under the maintenance warranty.
