If an F1 car can do it why not a British roadster? Computers are amazing things!
I seem to recall that F1 cars don't DO standing starts... do they? Or am I thinking of Indy cars? I always assumed there was a reason for those high-speed rolling green flags.
Just to put things in perspective, my Ultralite is around 400 HP per ton and it is insanely quick [said to be 3.5 sec 0-60, which matches what one would expect with that power-to-weight ratio. My car is probably 250 HP with S2000 engine and the open exhaust and it is supposed to weigh 1,240 lbs. Apparently, this monster Caterham must only weight 1,100 lbs. to get the 1,000 HP per ton. That weight is a dramatic reduction from the normal Caterham. The has electronic traction and launch controls, which should help get at least some of the power to the ground at launch. Surprisingly, my car hooks up very well. You know, maybe I need a twin turbo set-up. Yeh, that's the ticket! Human nature says you are never satisfied, right?
Anyway, I would love to eventually have a printout with pictures of each member and their Mini, and perhaps a few other facts. I guess that would take a technical dude. The club certainly has some prolific photographers!

Matt: consider yourself adopted! Hey, what happened to the copper convertible? I missed two or three breakfasts before the last one at MAG and now I find that you have a different car! Anyway, I am looking forward to that cleanup day at your place if my schedule will allow. I want to convince some of the guys/gals to start using a product from Corrosionx called RejeX that I originally read about in a long-term test of an Audi in Car & Driver.

I'm glad to see you "officially" joined the club by getting your own NAM username . Very nice Clubman indeed! I love the Chili Red/Black combo. I'm also delighted that you already intend to modify it! woot woot
It's from this summer... but it does show the checkered A-panels, which my other didn't.
Yea, I was looking at that GREEN grass for a bit longer than usual... good news is that Spring is on the way though! I saw some early signs of it while on a hike the other day
JanCoop is my name, Janet Cooper, my husband Terry is my copilot. We live in Coshocton - we would be at more breakfasts if they were a late breakfast. I just hate to get up at 6 am to be at Tim Hortons for early breakfast
I don't want to jinx him, but sooner or later they will notice. Just my .02 here, but why give someone a reason to pull you over?
In CHKMINI I the cops had me pulled over for no front plate the first day after removing my 30 day temporary tag With CHKMINI II the plate went on from the first minute I owned it.

Yeah, they DO keep records of perpetual perpetrators!
