Let me know how the install goes. I see Chuck's that he gave me everyday and just have not gotten up the courage to install or the $$ to pay someone.

Will do...but assuming the weather goes back to what it's SUPPOSED to be in January (it's 64 otuside!) I probably won't be installing until it warms up a bit...for sure will have it done before MOTD though!

One bonus to working in cold weather. When you bust your knuckles they don't bleed as much if it's in the single digits. A gusher at 64 degrees hardly bleeds at 5 degrees.

John Petrich modded his stock bar...

for an MCS. Ground some more flat on it and added more holes. That's the cheapest adjustable bar out there, should be great for a cooper. He's a memeber of the Pueget Sound BMW CCA. Search for thier site, look at "members cars", then Minis and John as done tons of DIY improvements to his car. Well worth the time to find it all.

I'd post a link, but that would be just too easy! Some things you have to earn....

Everybody please be careful not to burn yourself on the exhaust when working on your sway bar or when walking behind a Mini.

Thanks for the directions Dr. O.

Here's a picture of Kim drilling out her rear swaybar.
Thanks Dr O.......

While you have that drill out you might want to DIY a set of these....

http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...&products_id=1

I saved $69.95 by drilling my own holes.

Allen if you are going to work near the rear of a Cooper S, please dress appropriately. Safety first!!!

NOOOOO HELLo Kitty --- yuck pink

I'm a Badtz Maru chick:

Badtz-Maru(1993)

Birthday: April 1 (go figger)

Birthplace: Oahu Island, Hawaii

Personality: A bit selfish, Badtz-Maru tends to make fun of things he thinks are silly. This mischievous little penguin loves to fight for the wrong side. His hobby is collecting pictures of movie stars who play bad guys.

Dream: to be boss, of everything (just like KIM)

Took a few mins but i found it! I'm thinking I'll start with the stock S bar, and then...if I get bored one weekend, give the drilling a go. Thanks for the info!

BTW: Thanks for the bar Welchman!

You're certainly welcome to it. As I told you, it sure beats just having it sit around in my garage when someone could be using it, instead!

Hey Allen, I followed the Dr.'s advise and drilled holes in my hot exhaust, but my car doesn't handle any better...it does sound different though, kinda obnoxious
