I'm new at this..and need some info..
I'm looking to purchase a MINI very shortly and want to know if auto or stick
is better. I've driven a MINI (stick) in Italy but feel more comfortable with automatic. Does anyone have any hints or suggestions for me.

Test drive them both and then you can decide what you like the best.

 

A friend of mine bought a 6 speed Passat less than a year ago. Only to realise that he did not like the idea of changing gears the rush hour traffic. He now has a VW Station Wagon Diesel Automatic Transmission.

Having said that I would tell you to examine your driving routes and habits before you make your purchase. Personally I enjoy the control you have in driving stick rush hour or not.

End result - the final choice is yours.

Picked up on 12/3/02 one All Black MINI.
...and on the eight day the MINI was created, and it was good.

 

Please try searching around the forums - there have got to be at least ten threads on this topic by now. I've seen at least three just in the past week.
