I made an appointment earlier in the week to have my oil changed and tires rotated at 5K miles. There was NO WAY I was going to wait until 10K as recommened by MINI/BMW on a brand new car/engine. The cost for the work done totalled $105.00 (the 4.5 qts of synthetic oil cost around $35, and labor was around $55, my receipt is in Red 5). John is very friendly and welcomed me into the garage bays so I could watch and ask any questions. I was given free reign to roam around. He showed me the MCS he races with, talked frankly about maintenance, showed me all of the equipment they use, and showed me various parts and mods. John and his crew are very friendly, knowledgable and they work efficiently. Red 5 and I were made to feel very welcome and I look forward to maintaining a long relationship with the Glenelg Service Center.

Same service, same result for me. John also reset the onboard computer to help it adjust to the arrive of the Alta pulley and CAI. Maybe its just me, but the car really seems smoother as a result.
