I got a call today from a woman who said she was from MINI, not my dealer. She was inviting me to attend a focus group discussion about how minis are sold and serviced. It was to be taped for research purposes. She said it was to be help in Baltimore and that afterwards we'd receive a free dinner and mini merchandise. She went on to say I was one of 15 selected. That it will be held in a hotel on Nov. 12th. (I have forgotten the hotel name). She said she would email me further information. I told them I could attend and was happy to help make mini better.

Has anyone heard of this or been contacted as I have ?

Enjoy the dinner and freebies, and whatever you do, don't let on that they could log on to NAM and save themselves the trouble of a focus group and the associated dinners and freebies !

 

Somebody in our area got an invite to one last year.

 

Amazing they haven't figured that out yet eh? But at my dealer, there is never a wait for service when I ask. At Tate Mini in Annapolis, MD they always say the next available is "tomorrow morning". No problems so far.
