Sunday, October 19th is our scheduled Fall Foliage Drive.
We will meet at Crown MINI of Richmond on West Broad St. at 8:30am for a drive out to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We will leave Crown MINI PROMPTLY at 9:00am. We will most likely take 64 to Charlottesville where we will meet up with other MINI's from the Mid-Atlantic area at 10:00 am and then get onto back roads at 10:30 for about 75 miles of back road motoring before a rest stop for lunch around 12:30. Around 2:00 pm we will depart the lunch stop to tour another 50-75 miles ending back in Charlottesville. From there we will depart for the drive home at about 4pm.
I will provide cue sheets for the drive with turn by turn directions so no need to worry about driving at other people's pace. The theme of the drive is to enjoy the Fall Foliage. It is NOT a race.
There will also be a release form to sign explicitly stating that we will be driving on curvy mountain roads and that you are responsible to drive with caution.
Please RSVP or ask questions to: tandemnut@comcast.net
I hope to see you there.
Happy Motoring,
Seth Schmidt
Hope to see you there.
