I would think they would just forward to the new IP address (until the DNS servers are changed) rather than putting up that message saying that the old server was crap. That is, assuming they transfered everything to the new server. Or is the customer supposed to do that?
Sounds like a pretty bad hosting service.

Unless our MichiganMini moderators know something we don't, this does give us pause to think about trying to take advantage of all of the kind offers we are getting to improve our web site. What do you think MMMC members--do we need to make the move to update/replace our site????

I have no idea what's going on with MichiganMINI.com. To me it looks like another hacker got to it, as this countdown business looks shady at best. I'm all for getting Tom to transfer the domain and the site to a more reliable host.
As for the Dyno Day; Advanced Chassis Dyno is at the northeast corner of I-75 and Maple [aka 15 Mile] on a side street. I don't know the name of the side street, hopefully Chad can give the exact info. 10am is the start time.

dyno day, Saturday at 10:00 am the street name is Austin, it is off maple (15 mile) just east of I-75. the north side of the road. stop by even if your not going to run your car!
also DT would be happy to run and pay for michiganmini.com, i just needs the domain name. we can take care of everything else. just another offer. but we need tom to talk to us. it seams like the site has been hacked again. :(

Damn, I am in a different German hotel this trip and the internet is 8 eur. ($10.50) per hour.
So, after a week I bite the bullet, log on, and first place I go I see that stupid message.
I thought it was the T-Mobile system and wrote them a nasty e-mail about what a rip-off their system is.
Now I feel stupid seeing this thread...
...but 8 eur/hr. is still a rip-off.
ps. see lots of MINI's this trip.
