FS: Blizzak Snow Tires on Steel Rims
FS: Blizzak Snow Tires on Steel Rims
I have for sale 4 Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 snow tires, 185/65QR15, mounted on black steel rims w/hubcaps.
I purchased the tires from Tire Rack 11/26/03 for $480 plus shipping. I’m asking $350 (or best offer) plus whatever it costs to ship the tires to you. I have the original shipping material from Tire Rack, which consists of two cardboard disks, same diameter as the tire, strapped to the both sides of the wheel/tire. This seems to work ok in protecting the wheel from dings during shipping. Hubcaps ship in a separate box.
I purchased the tires just after we got our MC, and used them for one season while we were living in the DC area. I hardly needed the tires there (not much snow), but I really don’t need them now that we live in central Kansas (even less snow).
There are 1345 miles on the tires, mostly dry or slushy pavement. Tires, wheels, and hubcaps are in excellent condition. There are no dings or scratches on the wheels, only slight rub marks from hubcaps. No damage to the tires or hubcaps. The wheels use OEM lug bolts. When I first got the tires, I waxed the wheels with “Wheel Wax” before mounting them. I cleaned and waxed them again after switching back to street rims/tires. I didn’t use the tires at all during 2004.
Wheels were balanced when I received them from Tire Rack, but I had 3 wheels rebalanced at a local shop since the wheel weights weren’t securely attached. No problem since rebalancing.
I have over 40 photos, which I’m trying to get organized to post here or on a web site. I’ll post again when the photos are ready, but in the meantime, let me know if you’re interested or have questions.
For payment, I can accept PayPal or we can work out something else...

I have a buyer for the snow tires. Thanks to everyone for your interest. If for some reason the deal does not go through, I'll re-post.
