For those who may have questions on this rack.. I have the same one. I got it a week after I got my MCS, loaded two adult sized Mtn. Bikes on it, and then drove 4 hours on the highway for a vacation. Took the rack on and off many times over the week, and then drove the same 4 hours home with it.

Not a scratch or scrape on the car from it. I was very concerned about my new car, so I was very careful when using the rack, but I can honestly say that it is a great rack and I recommend it to anyone who needs a hatchback mounted rack.

Just my 2 cents....

 

I also have this rack and its great for one or two bikes. I have put 3 bikes on it and it made a dent on the hatch that I had to get fixed. Other than that, it works great and securely holds the bikes.

I think the rack is great too

And it's at a great price.

I used it to load some Mtn Bikes. Carrying two bikes its quite secure even at 80 mph. But you have to take it easy on the turns. If you only load one bike then you can still hit turns at fun speeds.
