Have an MC and looking to upgrade to the better suspension? Or need a replacement for an MCS? I have an extra rear sway bar from an MCS and a set of springs from the MCS with SS+. Most likely, whatever you guys offer me will be fine, so reply or send me a PM if you are interested.

 

For those even just thinking about upgrading to SS+?

What are the paint codes on the springs, i.e. the colored blocks about mid way on the spring? For example, your front springs are probably gray/gray.

 

The paint codes are gray/gray. What does this mean? I have never heard of these before.

 

What about the rear spring paint codes?

BTW, the paint codes denote the different spring rates used, and MINI has used many spring rates. The rates differ with the options (and therefore, the weight) of the car. The SS+ sway bars are the same; it's the springs, most notably the rears, that differ.

 

the springs are gray/gray on the larger ones and gray/yellow on the smaller ones. They are from an MCS with SS+.
