I have a set of silver 17 x 7.5 Kosei k1 wheels that I would like to swap for a comparable set of 17 x 7.0 wheels. Please, no s-lites! I have a set of those. I want something that is about as light as the Kosei wheel (16.4#). I'm switching from stx to g stock and can't run the wider wheel. I will also sell these wheels outright for $550 + shipping. They come with hubcentric rings, lug bolts, and center caps. There are a couple of minor rock nicks but no curb rash.

 

For racing in G-stock, you will be much better off getting a lightweight set of 16x6.5 wheels. NZO Monzas (formerly known as AK Monzas) are a great choice for lightweight and affordable racing wheels. Plus, tires for 16" wheels are MUCH cheaper and you have a lot more choices when it comes to tires for racing.

Alternatively, you could keep the Kosei's for daily driving and sell the S-lites in order to buy better wheels for racing. . .

 

Just curious, how much do the s-lites weigh? How much does the r-90 weigh? I put s-lites on my 2003 cooper, I like the look but am wondering if it was the right thing to do performance wise?

S-lites are about 25# each. S-lites with Pirelli runflats are about 48# each. Kosei k1's with 205/40/17 Kumho mx's are about 35# each for a total weight savings of 52# (unsprung).

 

I have 2 SSR Comp Rs for sale 16x6.5" 44 offset 11#. These are the wheels that AK copied. One two small marks from an overzealous tire changer, looks like a snake bite on the outer edge of the rim. Each mark is less than 1/8". I am asking $350 for both wheels. PM if interested.
