Anyone parting out an MC? I could use some replacement parts for the shift assembly and don't feel like getting slaughtered by the dealer regarding the cost.

Specifically looking for a complete- stock- shift box (white box that houses the stick shift unit and cables) complete with pivot retainer ring etc. for a 5speed MC

Were you able to get just the pivot retainer ring? If so, how? It would be good info to post for anyone unlucky enough to have this problem in the future.

 

Unfortunatley I had to buy the entire shift assembly- got a good deal though from Foriegn Affairs auto (they are listed in the sponsor directory)- saved me about $35 from what the dealer would have charged me.

The way I look at it- next time I'll trust my instincts over the instructions, and the cost of that less is $67+shipping
