I've made build thread about using this throttle controller i will link below.. dont waste your money on a pedal commander when they do exactly the same thing...
and on my r58 and my mods , the nm module definitely added more power than a jb+.. the nm module at its low setting was equivalent to the jb+ on its max setting..

I just found this on AliExpress:

RMW doesnt do canned tunes... its an N18 you have far more parameters you can modify... plus i know for a fact its not canned because my JCW Paceman was the test mule for the tune

Prototype-R offers remote tunes for the N18, the cable is $55 and the software is $35/lifetime and isnt vin locked. He also will adjust and offer se ondary tune options if you want the exhaust changed, stage 1 in normal mode/ stage 2 in sport mode, ect.

RMW is who I was considering to get an engine from this year, built from the ground up...Im hoping that it ends well, the reviews I read online in the past worries me unfortunately.

I had a JB+ on my R60 for about a year, it was nice to have a few more PSI but a real tune makes a night and day difference and is worth every penny. Id offer the JB+ for $150 shipped if you are still considering one.

RMW's engines are the benchmark... all of these other "engine builders" have come and gone... RMW is still there... in fact every other engine builder has tried to copy his work (ie Thumper)... most of the bad reviews if you dig into it are usually people who didnt listen to him and wrecked their own motors... or use some nonsense like bytetronik... and you dont need stage tunes... just one proper tune... i have been running the tune he built and my paceman was the mule for now over 6+ years with no issue

I was talking about the RMW thread where a few people have sent him money in full for engine builds or sent them their cars and have gotten zero responses a few months later. Its not errors or blown up engines, just money exchanged and silence afterwards. The thread seems to have disappeared, hopefully due to the buyer getting his GP back.

Im not trying to sound like a **** about RMW, Im hoping for the best when I take the chance myself - but like I said, it does worry me as Im not well off and that kind of money can make people commit TOS violations if it just evaporates. His work is impressive and he does know what hes doing. His big head and closed block is why I am going to use his services

if they're not taking the stock map and sending a custom tune file off your data logs.. it's a canned tune brother.
and n18 yea more parameters v n14 but only because a mire complicated ecu and dual vanos... if your talking tuning and power, n14 is better , all day every day...
I do have personal experience building and modifying both engines so I'm not just spreading he said she Said or Googled answers..

my 2 builds
