No, sorry, it was not a scam. I'm the original owner. I live in California and because it did not comply with the EO-695 ( I was using 550cc injectors rather then stock ) it failed technical inspection and so it was not possible to register it here.
The car is going to a new forever home where it can be driven that way it was meant to be driven.
