Description:
After 18 years, it’s time to sell my ‘06 Cooper S. I ordered it from Hassel Mini in Freeport, L.I. October 2006. Options - Dark Silver w/stripes, LSD, rear fog light, and iPod adapter (now removed). I’ve got a binder with the window sticker and all the receipts. Mobil 1 oil used entire life. New battery and tires in last 60 days. Still being occasionally driven so miles will go up. Shifts smoothly and has plenty of pep.
Upgrades:
Factory LSD (optioned when built)
Helix 15% pulley
Alta Cold Air Intake
380cc injectors (OEM)
RMW Dynapack tuned (190hp)

The bad -
Corrosion on both doors and under both tail lights. Some leaks in the mufflers of the Miltek exhaust. It’s a little noisy when starting up cold, quiets down as it warms up.
Hood is dented and both bumpers scratched up. Driver side rear quarter has a dent near the door. Small indentation on roof near driver door. Tears on left bolster of driver seat and back.
Occasional timing chain rattle on start-up (goes away after warm up). Timing chain, guides, and sprockets are original. Tensioner replaced (9/22)
Oil leaks. I think mostly from the timing chain cover.
Power steering fluid leaks from reservoir hoses. Started this winter.
Airbag light is on due to the passenger seat occupancy sensor needing to be replaced. This issue was an NTSA recall and should be done free of charge at any MINI dealership. I confirmed this is the issue with a scan tool.
Thanks for looking! I will be sad to see him go
