Im not sure if I have asked here before but I would like to add to my mini corral a Gen 1 Black eyed purple JCW mini. Im sure this would have to be in someone's collection because I have been watching from time to time over the last year or so without any success. I think it would have to be an 05 car but not positive. Let me know if someone has one or possibly a lead.

BEP was a limited period option straddling the 2005/2006 model years (mine built Nov 21, 2005 celebrates its 19th birthday soon). Within USA, seems that option box wasn't often checked by dealers ordering for inventory. Curious why this color especially appeals?

my wife likes the purple car and I am developing JCW cars for my children for the future. We have a British racing green and a royal grey metallic already but need one more to have one for each of my kids down the road. I agree that this is a rare car and am willing to pay a fair price for the factory JCW package in this color. I would prefer well optioned bone stock if possible. I know that at some point they made a few of them. Porsche, BMW, and I'm sure minis produced a few to ship to dealers. If anyone has a lead , I would appreciate it.
