I currently have another much more built r53 so I don't really need 2x and ive always had a sweet spot for the newer jcw body style. I ALSO will consider an automatic. I also expect the car to be equally as nice as mine inside and out. Mileage isn't a concern so long as routine maintenance has been performed.
I aquired my 2004 mini cooper S with factory aero kit just over 1yr ago and bought it as a project car. Since owning it the past year I personally have performed all the maintenance and mod installations my self and have proof of everything too. I have done SO much to make this car as almost perfect as it could be so I will do my best to list everything I have replaced and upgraded in the past year. Also while doing the clutch I found the car DOES have a 06+ engine AND transmission but mileage is unknown BUT the engine DOES have rebuild heat tabs indicating it was rebuilt at some time. The car has 0 issues, runs great and makes 18psi on an avg day. Since owning it ive used rotella 5w40 and get no oil useage between oil changes, no lifter noise or tailpipe smoke even on coldest days and after sitting for over 7x days. It is a very nimble car and has amazing throttle response. I promise there's not many other r53 noneless 2004 cars out there on this level. If you know me , you know how meticulous I am about maintaining my stuff.
modifications are :
.lightweight 1x piece flywheel and stage 1x clutch and exeddy throw out bearing and factory LSD
.ported facelift sc with 19% pulley and synthetic oil on both ends with new waterpump
.fully ported sneedspeed intake Manifold
.ported intercooler horn ,sc top hat , intercooler elbow and boostube ALL ported n polished
.catless Obx 421 headers with ported flange and non resonated Milian exhaust and 02 spacer for NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ( for emissions states to pass inspections)
.380cc jcw injectors
.340lph fuelpump and new filter
.facelift ecu with factory GP tune ( abit more aggressive than the jcw tune)
.coldair intake
.msd coilpack and msd wires with ngkR step1 colder plugs

Here's list of everything ive replaced the past year that i can remember :
All the mods were put on new and the supercharger had a new waterpump put on and fully serviced and ported prior to install. So nothing is over 1x yr old and has no more than 8k miles.
intake manifold gasket , exhaust gaskets , throttlebody gasket , green boost tube gasket , exhaust header gasket , exhaust bushings , supercharger hat and elbow gasket , upgraded under intercooler vacuum lines and T connectors , front and rear tmap sensors , oil pressure sensor , all ignition components are under 5x months old , serpentine belt and belt tensioner and idler pulley , new fuel pump and filter and cleaned the entire tank , injectors were just replaced with new ones under 200x miles ago too , both axles , front control arms and bushings , all 4x balljoints , front swaybar bushings , coilovers and endlinks are all only 6months old , rear lower control arms , upper and lower engine mounts , all 4x brake rotors and pads , all 4x hubs , all 4x speed sensors and brake sensors , clutch setup has under 8k miles on it too and feels AMAZING and bites HARD , guide tube , rear maim seal, replaced the front hood to get rid of rock chips and dings , every fluid has been changed for FULL SYNTHETICS ( brake,trans,sc oil ,gear oil ,engine oil) , cooling system flush and coolant has been changed from bmw blue to universal green for easier cheaper maintenance , cabin air filter and more I'm probably forgetting but will add when I remember.
so as you see , ive spared NO EXPENSES when modfifying and rebuilding this cooper.
I'd absolutely trust this car to drive from California to New York without issue. Ive personally have taken it on a few 600mile round trips , all problem free and pulling 30mpg on the freeway.
