The car is all original. It is in showroom condition. It comes with two keys, original window sticker, literature, and other JCW GP goodies as delivered new with the car.

This particular car is arguably the most collectible BMW-era (2002+) MINI in the country. I say that having chased this specific car for a while before buying it and having watched the market for R53 JCW GPs for a long time. The only other lower-mileage example of a R53 JCW GP that I've seen was sold on BringATrailer in 2018 (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-mini-gp-5/). It was a 14-mile example at the time, but the buyer added 4,600 miles to it as of 2021.

History of #1683:

First owner: From the Chicago area, a glamour and lifestyle professional photographer.
Second owner: From California, a MINI collector who owned the car the majority of its life, for approximately 10 years if I recall correctly.
Third owner: From Arizona, a collector who after brief ownership sold it on BringATrailer in March 2021 (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-mini-gp-35/).
Fourth owner: From Florida, a speculator I assume, who only owned the car for 3 months before selling it through Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale. I purchased the car in June 2021 at Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale. During my ownership, the car has been in a climate-controlled garage on a battery maintainer and started/gotten up to temperature periodically.
