Ideally you'd want no more than a 10% spread from the highest pressure reading - consistency is the goal here, not absolute pressure values (although please keep in mind that I'm at about 2850 feet above seal level, so the absolute values would be a bit higher if this test was done in San Diego)...
Bottom line, cylinder #2 is about 12.7% off the mark. Overall, these are still good numbers in my book, especially considering it's a 105K unmolested motor. I did a cold start today to warm things up, and it hadn't been run in over 2 months... started right up and ran smooth as can be.
Same day delivery from Amazon... Fuel pump fuse pulled while running. No concerns here with the plugs, all very consistent and no oil/water evidence. Coil wires pulled, plugs pulled, ready to test #1.

HOW is this car even still available? As a past owner of a Hyper Blue JCW (and several others), this is one of the best colors that really pops!
The HB exterior with that immaculate Cordoba interior in a factory JCW with aero is a really rare combo, combined with the favorite R98 web spoke wheels. At Sunday Cars & Coffee, you are not going to see another MINI like this.
The owner seems to be very upfront and honest with extensive disclosures, so I'm betting this car will exceed all expectations. I wish I had room in the garage for another.
