Description:
These are quite possibly the best Coilovers you can have for your 1st gen MINI!
They've only been used for 6000 miles. I purchased and installed these back in November 2022.
I've also included the camber plates I purchased from Ali Express and modified to fit the OHLIN. They have worked flawlessly for the past six months.
These were the first coilovers that I've had on my MINI that were comfortable to use on a daily but also provided great performance in the corners when you needed. I say this after having owned my MINI for 12 years with experience in 4 different setups on my car ( 3 different coilovers and a set of drop springs).
The only reason I'm selling these is because I want to go super low. These coilovers drop 20mm from stock height. I have decided replace these with Fortune Auto Coilovers which I think will best fit my need to go super low. I'm just glad I got to experience these coilovers. It has spoilt me in way that I'll have a difficult time going back to the budget coilovers.
I'm asking for $1800 (including shipping).
The market value for these around $2300 + tax. And $500 + if you want the camber plates.
I purchased these for $2500 (with shipping and import taxes) from Lohen MINI in the UK. It was installed in the MINI I use in Dubai. They have hardly seen any potholes since the roads over there are really smooth.
Please Note: You will need to reuse your rear upper mounts as per OHLINS instructions.
These should fit the R56 (2nd gen MINI as well). However you will need a R56 front top mount and a control arm spacer for your rear shocks to make them fit.
Damages:
1. Tire rub on the front spring perches - It's only in one spot on both sides. It doesn't affect the performance or function in any way. I've included pictures in the bottom of these.
2. Small chip on the original strut mount - Just a small nick from me dropping the wrench on the plate (please see pic)
