2006 Mini Cooper S hardtop. 2nd owner (bought it in 2009). Royal Grey paint with black racing stripes on the hood only. 6 speed. 16" wheels. Tires (Continentals) and interior in great shape. Engine is blown (melted cylinder) and must be replaced. Has a 15% reduction pulley and cold air intake. Otherwise everything is stock. Aero kit (oem body kit) that has chips on the front end and a crack on bottom of front bumper. 2 small dents on driver door (paint ok). Otherwise the exterior and paint is in great shape. Tinted taillights and blackened rings over the headlights. Has sunroof. Vinyl seats (grey). Has LSD. The pictures show all blemishes on the car.

You might have seen this posted a year ago but I wasn't trying very hard. Now I'm ready to sell it but I'm still not in a rush. I know I am asking a lot but I took great care of the car and hoping it finds a good home.

Why not resurrect the car with a replacement engine? The rest of the car being in great condition with a new engine the car should be almost like new. And should give you thousands of miles of good service.

If you do then later decide to sell the car you stand a much better chance of getting more for the car -- although you probably won't recoup what you spent for the engine replacement -- and have an easier time selling it as it runs and a prospective buyer can experience the car on the road.

I am local and a little interested. What's the current mileage? I take it this has been sitting for at least a year?

It's at 160,000 miles and yeah it's been sitting in my garage since Feb 2022 (it's always been garage kept)
