This kit came originally on Automatic R53/R52S but eventually became one of the best retrofits to protect the Power steering Fan from the elements.

This is a two part kit:

Air Channel : 51-75-7-201-453

Perforated Engine under tray: 51-75-7-201-784

Price for both 250$ OBO

These were standard on automatic transmissions. Out of curiosity, are they beneficial with manuals.

Good Question. This channel will protect the vulnerable and exposed little fan of the EHPS from the direct exposure to the elements (dirt, water, gravel, salt…). And as we all know, the life expectancy of the EHPS is greatly reduced if said fan is seized.
